Description of the tour:

The Moscow Metro is an incredibly interesting place, although at first glance it seems ordinary and unremarkable. Our journey to the underground world will reveal all the secrets and rumors, what unusual things are happening here and how this huge underground city lives at night, when stations and underground passages are empty, and passengers sleep peacefully in their apartments.

During the tour you will:

• Get acquainted with the history of the metropolitan subway – a dynamic and continuously developing facility. Follow the main stages of its development by walking through different halls – from the stations of the first lines, more like luxurious palaces, to the extremely urban, looking into the future of the latter.
• You will see how the style and decoration of these stations changed over time, what solutions architects and designers found to implement their ideas, experimenting with shape, color and lighting.
• You will find out how true the legends and myths of the Moscow metro are, and what secrets the metropolitan subway keeps. Where secret tunnels are laid in the subway, whether amazing creatures really live in the labyrinths of underground passages and what ghosts walk at stations at night.
